Brighton for a long weekend on a specialist course like Garden mosaics, Design - classical and modern,
Relief & texture mosaics, Mirrors - unique and handsome. All the specialist courses are for both beginners
and those who want to develop their mosaics skills further. We cater for all abilities and the three days
allows you to make a more substantial mosaic. All food, refreshments and mosaic materials are included in
the price. Not least, the July course helps you avoid the crush of the London Olympics!

What you get
All participants will be sent by e-mail a comprehensive eight page Mosaic Guide. On arrival there will be an introduction to mosaic making and then an opportunity to browse a library of mosaic books and resources. People then set about their own project. All mosaic materials, tools, refreshments and lunch are provided. Liz de Ath is on hand to give guidance. The longer three-day course offers:
- Support and creative advice on designing and creating.
- Time to focus on a specific area of mosaic-making.
- A finished piece of mosaic artwork.
- Over 100 tile colours to choose from and specialist tools and equipment.
- Light lunches and use of garden.
All Long Weekend Course and Bed & Breakfast fees in advance.

A chance to look at how design for mosaic has been approached through the ages and experiment with techniques for developing your mosaic ideas.

Mosaics for the GARDEN
Learn to make long lasting exterior mosaics for your blooming garden or patio. Think of that planter, tabletop, wall feature or small sculptural shape you could make. And do it.

RELIEF and texture
An experimental course building up from the flat surface to create sinuous plays of light and movement in your mosaic. Messy and fun.
